Established in 1897, the hotel has been welcoming guests for more than 125 years, combining history with modern comfort.

After being acquired by Paul Wüger Sr. in 1923, the hotel underwent a major renovation in 1928/29. At the time, it was considered the most modern hotel in northern Zurich and the only one offering hot and cold running water in every room – a remarkable innovation and a clear commitment to quality.
